About the Orthodox Metropolis of Eldoret and Northern Kenya

A Living Witness to the Orthodox Christian Faith

The Orthodox Metropolis of Eldoret and Northern Kenya is a vibrant ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa, committed to proclaiming the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, preserving the Apostolic faith, and serving the people of God throughout the region.

Guided by the teachings of the Holy Scriptures, Sacred Tradition, and the Holy Fathers, the Metropolis exists to lead people into a deeper relationship with Christ through prayer, worship, the Holy Mysteries, Christian education, and compassionate service.

Serving the counties and communities of Eldoret and Northern Kenya, the Metropolis oversees a growing network of parishes, mission stations, clergy, and ministries dedicated to strengthening the spiritual life of the faithful and sharing the Orthodox Christian faith with all people.
